1912,sesame seed was imported from overseas for the first time.This enabled our production and sales expand rapidly. With the completion of Gamagori factory in 1925, we became the largest factory in Japan. Now we have capacity of processing about 40,000 tons of raw seeds into oil. Reputation of our genuine sesame oil is spread throughout Japan.
Recently we have noticed a peculiar physiological active substance contained in sesame oil, and we are now under joint research with university.
